Alexander S. Orlofsky
Alex Orlofsky is a trial attorney and the founding and managing partner of The Orlofsky Law Firm. His skills are applied to a broad range of civil litigation including commercial disputes, personal injury, and property disputes. The Firm specializes in trials and unlike other so-called litigators handles all aspects civil litigation including jury trials. Our job is to produce the best possible results for our clients based on the facts and applicable law.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Mr. Orlofsky attended the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD where he graduated with a B.A. in Political Science. After his undergraduate studies, Mr. Orlofsky attended the University of Miami School of Law and was awarded a scholarship through the Miami Scholars Program.
In law school, Mr. Orlofsky was a member of the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review and received a fellowship from the Florida Bar Foundation to work at Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. After graduating cum laude in 2003, he clerked for Circuit Court Judge Michael Chavies until he stepped down from the bench in August 2005.
After clerking, Mr. Orlofsky worked at a Miami firm focusing primarily on complex commercial litigation, insurance coverage and products liability. He then joined Wolpe Leibowitz, a trial firm in Miami practicing personal injury and construction.
In 2012, after working as General Counsel for a private company in Miami, Florida, Mr. Orlofsky opened his own firm on Miami Beach. Admitted to practice in the states of Florida, New Jersey and before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Mr. Orlofsky is also active in the Dade County Bar Association and a member of the American Bar Association.
